My dog is scratching at the collar, causing redness and irritation. What should I do?

There is a slim chance that your dog might develop mild reactions such as scratching, redness and hair loss. These symptoms usually disappear within one to two weeks, without removing the collar, as your dog gets used to wearing it. In some cases, temporary collar removal may be recommended until the symptoms have disappeared.
